SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it can be alarmed concerning the large range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office focused on service the area click here every day. The service place developed for intervention experiences a significant influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it hard for the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more sources to allow the servicing of all consumers and boost entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
